I’ve pre-built each of these templates to the exact same standards as the custom designed sites I create for my clients. The only difference is that, instead of starting from nothing and building the site around your specific content, I’ve built a beautiful site that’s all ready to have your content added to it.

Since the site framework is already built and waiting for your content, I can offer my best design work at a MUCH lower cost than custom and with a relatively quick turnaround from purchase to launch to boot.

What are the benefits of purchasing a ready-made WordPress website?

The turnaround time for custom website design is generally 6 to 8 weeks and sometimes can be longer for larger or more complicated websites. With my ready-made sites, I can generally have a working website online for you to click through in about a week once you’ve provided me with your content.

You own it.
As with all of my websites, ready-made or custom, your new website is a stand-alone WordPress website. You own it. For example, if you have your own store, you don’t have to worry about someone changing rules or algorithms and negatively affecting your sales like you might with certain selling websites. You aren’t tied to any one web developer or company so you are free to hire someone else down the line to work on your site if you choose to. You are in control of your content.

Each of the WordPress store templates below runs on WooCommerce and was created for the small business owner who wants to start selling online or who wants to make the move from Etsy to their own, branded store. If you ship your products and you’d like to have your website automatically get shipping rates from Canada Post or USPS, you can purchase the Automatic Shipping Rates add-on to add this functionality.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to go from purchase to launching my website?

The time from purchase to launch depends a bit on my workload at the time of purchase but generally once I have all of the content for your website I can have a live preview of your site ready for you to check out and approve in about a week. Once that live preview is approved, I can usually upload the site to your hosting the next business day and you will be ready to put it to work for you.

What do I need to provide?

Before I can get started customizing one of the ready made sites for your business I will need to have all of your content. This means that I will need you to provide me with the text you’d like on each page as well as any images you’d like to replace the example images with. I will also need your logo file if you have one and any existing branding elements or colors that your business uses.

What if I don’t have content for my website yet?

If you don’t have the text for your site prepared already, I will provide you with a free copy of my website content planner that is filled with customized worksheets and prompts to help you write your content. It includes resources for finding free and inexpensive images to use on your website as well.

I am unable to get started on your website until I have all of the required content from you. Please keep this in mind and allow yourself some time to put the content together before your start date if you haven’t done so already. If you happen to take a while creating and gathering content it will increase the time it takes to go from purchase to launch!

Who Owns the Completed Website?

As with all of my websites, ready-made or custom, your new website is a stand-alone WordPress website. It is yours. You will be granted a single use license to use the website for your business. For example, if you have your own store, you don’t have to worry about someone changing rules or algorithms and negatively affecting your sales like you might with certain other selling websites. You aren’t tied to any one web developer or company so you are free to hire someone else other than me down the line to work on your site if you choose to. You are in control of your website and its content.

Will my website be unique?

Because this ready-made site is sold multiple times and then customized for each individual business, there will be other businesses using the same website template. Although it is the same template, the fact that each one has been customized keeps them from looking like cookie cutter sites but I want to make sure you’re aware of this fact. If you want to make sure no one else will use the same website as you, custom design services are the way to go.

Important Information: Additional Costs

Hosting Fees

In order to put your completed website online, you will need a hosting plan and a domain name. At this time, I do not offer hosting so you will need to purchase this separately. If you don’t already have hosting, I personally use DreamHost for all of my sites and I always recommend them to my clients.

PLEASE NOTE: If you would like me to, I will upload the finished website to your hosting account for you at no charge. In order to do this, you will need to allow my access to log in to your hosting account.

They have an awesome DreamPress plan that’s made just for WordPress websites like this one. DreamPress comes with a free pre-installed SSL certificate so that visitors don’t get that “This website is not secure” warning when they visit your website. You don’t have to touch it, it just works. This is especially important if you choose the site with a storefront as you will need an SSL certificate to sell your products and take payments. The DreamPress plan also has built in caching to speed up your site, offers free daily as well as on-demand backups of your website for peace of mind, and it includes a free domain (ex: yourname.com) and free email hosting so you can have a professional [email protected] email address. It even automatically updates WordPress for you so that you always have the most up to date version and all of the important security patches. The WordPress folks themselves even recommend them!

The DreamPress Starter plan starts at $16.95/month (USD) at the time of writing this and their starter plan is sufficient for this website template, there’s no need to spend more on the bigger plans unless you want more features. The DreamPress Plus plan does add free Jetpack Professional (which has some amazing features) if that’s something you’re interested in. The price tag for Plus is a little more at $24.95/month (USD) though.

Store/SHOP Features (For Hayai, Jun and Sakura templates only)

Configuring basic shipping is included with the storefront version of these websites. This means calculating a flat rate shipping charge for up to six different product categories. If you would like to be able to automatically fetch shipping rates from Canada Post or USPS then the Canada Post or USPS extensions from WooCommerce are something you should look into. I can install and configure these extensions for you for an additional fee if you need help.

Modifications and Additions

Please note that modifications to the theme beyond adding your content are not included in the purchase price and will be billed separately if required. Additional pages, blog posts and products can be added on for an additional fee. Please inquire for pricing that is tailored to your specific needs.
